CAMP HILL, Pa. (May 26, 2026) — The MOM-n-PA dental clinic returns to the Agri-Plex at the Allentown Fairgrounds, May 29-30, where it will be equipped to support more than 2,000 individuals-in-need with free care. United Concordia Dental and the Highmark Foundation are major sponsors of the statewide event.
Each year, MOM-n-PA, a program of the Pennsylvania Dental Foundation, brings together hundreds of volunteers to provide exams, cleanings, fillings, root canals and other dental care to various communities in Pa. at no charge. Services are offered on a first-come, first-served basis, and preregistration is not required. This is the third time Allentown, Pa., will host the clinic. Previous programs held there served a combined 3,422 patients and delivered $2,359,378 in free dental care in 2014 and 2023.
“By providing free access to critical dental services, MOM n PA fills a crucial gap in public health for underserved communities in the state — especially the 13% of the population without dental insurance who are less likely to seek care,” said Roosevelt Allen, DDS, MAGD, ABGD, chief dental officer, United Concordia Dental. “We’ve been proud to support this organization’s important work from the very beginning and applaud its continued impact on helping Pennsylvanians take steps toward bettering their oral and overall health.”
United Concordia and Highmark have sponsored MOM-n-PA dental clinics for the past 12 years. The companies’ employees also contribute to the mission by volunteering their time and skills to assist with administrative and logistical duties at the two-day clinic. “Access to dental care shouldn’t depend on where you live or what you can afford,” said Kenya T. Boswell, president of the Highmark Foundation and senior vice president of community affairs at Highmark Health. “MOM‑n‑PA is a powerful example of what’s possible when community partners, volunteers and sponsors come together to remove barriers to care. We’re proud to support this clinic and ensure more individuals and families can receive the preventative and restorative dental services they need to support their overall health and well‑being.”
Since MOM-n-PA’s inception in 2013, nearly 9,500 volunteers have provided over $11.2 million in free dental services to more than 15,700 patients who can’t afford them.
