Feb 11, 2021

HARRISBURG, Pa. (Feb. 11, 2020) – Dentists who participate with United Concordia Dental can receive a free amalgam separator unit and a 20 percent discount on products and services from Dental Recycling North America (DRNA), one of the largest direct recycling service providers in the dental community.

“United Concordia and DRNA have a common goal of helping dental practices adhere to the Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) amalgam recycling requirements, while also saving money,” said James Shade, senior vice president, Dental Network Operations, Services & Solutions for United Concordia. “Our collaboration with DNRA is designed to provide our network dentists with an effective yet cost-conscious means to meeting these important environmental directives.”

Dentists who sign a recycling agreement with DRNA will receive the free amalgam separator unit. They can also receive a 20 percent discount on all DRNA products and services, including separator cartridges, waste disposal receptacles and amalgam recycling services.

With more than 20 years of experience, DRNA, headquartered in New York, NY, has provided affordable and efficient dental waste management solutions to a diverse roster of dental customers, including private practices, dental schools, Dental Service Organizations (DSO’s), hospitals and other health institutions.

“DRNA is extremely pleased to work with United Concordia to offer discounts that reduce amalgam recycling costs while simultaneously implementing one of the best compliance solutions available,” said Marc Sussman, president and CEO of DRNA.  “Given the current economic climate, we believe our collaboration will assist United Concordia dentists in reducing their overhead. DRNA is very excited to pass along these costs savings.”

DRNA is also committed to delivering their products and services with a strict adherence to safety and compliance requirements, including EPA recycling standards.

“United Concordia is continuously focused on solutions to support and benefit our dentists and their practices, as they are a foundation of our organization,” said Shade. “Our collaboration with DRNA helps us achieve this goal and show our appreciation for the important care our dentists provide each day to those we serve.”
