HARRISBURG, Pa. (July 23, 2018) – United Concordia Dental members now have an updated, more responsive tool to locate a dentist, make an appointment, find directions to the office and identify network dentists offering the most value.
Find a Dentist offers a new design packed with graphics, features and functions. It delivers a clear, understandable experience for laptop, tablet or smartphone users.
“The Find a Dentist tool makes it easier than ever for members to search our directory and find in-network dentists,” said Tim Constantine, United Concordia’s president and chief operating officer. “Today’s consumers rely on their mobile devices for virtually all of their interactions. This responsive new tool adds their dental visits to that list.”
Find a Dentist features:

A simplified search function that lets users search for dentists by city, state, ZIP code, practice name or dentist type.

Find My Network, a feature that identifies the name of the dental network, allowing for more accurate searches.

Maps and reliable directions to the dentist’s office by car, bike or public transportation.

A savings tooltip that indicates network dentists offering the most value.

A Schedule Now feature for select dentists to make appointments online.
Coupled with a recent overhaul of United Concordia’s mobile dental app for Apple and Android devices, Find a Dentist aims to improve the quality of members’ experiences on their journey toward better oral health and overall wellness.
Members can use the United Concordia app to access My Dental Benefits (MDB), an online benefits portal where they can: view their virtual ID card; review claims status; and learn more about their plan. The mobile app integrates helpful wellness tips, an emergency dental guide and an option to download Chomper Chums®, United Concordia’s brushing timer app for kids.
