CAMP HILL, Pa. (Nov. 9, 2022) — United Concordia Dental is donating $100,000 to eleven food banks in seven states to help Americans who may be struggling with food insecurity.
“Consistent access to healthy, fresh and nutrient-rich foods is such an important foundational piece to oral and overall health,” said Ed Shellard, DMD, president and CEO, United Concordia Dental. “With the U.S. Bureau of Labor and Statistics reporting an 11.2% increase in the average cost of food in September, the need for food banks is great. This donation represents one small step in helping to eliminate hunger and increase food access in these communities where we live, work and do business.”
